Images are not showing up...

Ok I know everything installed correctly...
When I choose to add images to the listing I have tried it three ways...

First... I selected the path and I saved no image appears...

Second... I selected to upload the image but I am not asked to upload...I just see a filed to enter it when I click it opens up the search feature and I select it then when I save no image is displayed...

Third... I attempted both ways at the same time by Uploading to ftp file location and By showing path from computer and still no images...

Under Admin -> Classifieds Settings -> Settings tab
Check that your Classifieds path is correct should be of the form

/home/public_html/ezclassifieds/classifieds/

The classifieds folder stores all the images. Also make sure it is writable.

I check permissions I set them to 777 still no images the paths are correct...

I also am not seeing images for the listing either.
I really need a Manual so I do not have to post a question as this is slowing me way down and there are way to many options that need to be spelled out a bit so I know how to make the correct choices when setting this site up.

I am only able to work a couple hours a night and at this rate it will be months before I can get everything ironed out..

I have a bunch more questions also...
about setting up the main Category and then sub categories linking back to the forum...
I assume I have to create a forum for each main cat...
and also have the sub sections in so they will be separated as classed on the Bid site...
 
Then I link to that forum is it going to make a post automatically...
These features would be excellent...
So don't think I am upset I just have way to many detailed questions to want to write them each up and then wait for a reply even though you do it quite efficiently...
It would be a lot easier for me to read and understand as I go along not having to stop every page and then come here with five questions and have to basically type the manual page by page in here...

I do not mind helping at all but I have a site to build and timelines I have established also goals to meet...
If you want to come over to my site and look first hand at what I am doing then please do so..

I had planned to set up about ten categories tonight and so Far I have two main and 1 sub and listed one item and I am not sure any of this is even correct right now...

I had the forums set up with the cats and subs that I wanted to mirror the site as mentioned above...
When I added the listing I did get a drop down box and here is another example what does lock topic do?...
perfect example of why I need a guide.
How about we work out a deal you come set everything up for me and I ask the questions here this way we both make progress..lol

I listed the item no image as spelled out already, the drop down did show and did update when I added section on my main board vb...
after I selected the used motorcycles section and listed the bike for sale..
I went then to my board and nothing happened...

I can probably some sort of deal for development. I would need a the site an ftp acccess and admin account on the ezclassifieds.

I do only have a couple hours a day to work on projects. I run a lot of websites/software products at http://samsonsoftware.com and does not even include my main company which I spend my day working on.


A full proper manual will take some time but I can probably put together something fairly quickly for the main settings areas.

When adding/editing a category there is a Max Images setting.
By default it is set to 0 to allow no images.

Raising that number allows images to be posted.
