Layout & formatting.
« on: January 29, 2012, 05:34:08 am »
K, I'm up and running now, but a few things:

I'd like to add a banner (logo) to the top and replace the basic writing.  Any advice on where to go to do that?  I can figure out the CSS files for the colours.

Also, is it possible to put the categories above the latest/top/etc. items?  (Currently the categories are at the bottom).

Also a way to order the categories.  (Which ones come first etc)

Whilst I'm here:  A more permanent area for the user to put in their own Paypal address (instead of for each item) would probably be a good idea.  Maybe in their profile.

And additionally to that, a way for admin to set a percentage from all sales to go to them if they desire, if the seller uses their own account.

I still can't get the integration working.  :-[

More when I think of them!  ;D

The header is controlled by a template file found in templates/default/global_header.htm
You can change the text or just replace it with an image html tag

Yes there is a setting that controls it under Admin -> Store Settings -> Layout
"Show the index blocks on top of store"
You can have either on bottom or top

There should be reorder link on the main store page. Up Down options

That's a good feature request I agree instead of having it entered each time for personal store's.

This part is hard since there is not a way to split a portion of paypal payment and send it to two different accounts

Duh!  ::)  Should've seen those settings!  My bad!

Thanks for the answers.

Yes, still haven't got the integration working.  I've tried all the combinations I can think of with no luck.  It's for my SMF forum 2.0.1.  I'm going to try it with one of my Wordpress blogs in a bit, see if that works.

For integration if you are still stuck I can take a look but may need an ftp account to check it out.

Also next version of the Store is in development so feature requests are helpful I try to have the same feature set with all the normal SMF based products.

I've been running around with work the last few days, so not had chance to play with this until just now (reported a possible  bug in the other section).

I'll fiddle again today, and see if there are any other suggestions I can come up with.  :D
