Questions
« on: March 01, 2013, 10:49:04 am »
I'm thinking about purchasing this for my myBB forum, but I have a couple questions:

1: Do my users have to buy credits for the auction - or can they pay the seller directly via paypal or email money transfer?

2: Can I make it so it is setup for auction listings only? Not really interested in the regular listings, as we already have those.

3: Do members already registered on my forum have to register for this as well, or does it use the same login information?

Thank you.

1. Users do not need to buy credits  you can have free auctions that do not cost the users any credits to add an auction listing.

2. Yes you can. You have control on a category level whether a category has auctions, listings, or both.

3. If you use the MyBB integration setting they will not have to register it will use the same information as your forum.

Okay so I bought this yesterday and haven't been able to get it installed properly.

The Instructions are just a litte too vague:
"To install upload all files to your website. Then run the install.php script via the web browser."

The second part, I get. The first part, not so much. If I install the way I normally would for mybb plugins - I have duplicate files (index.php for one) and I'm not sure I should overwrite those.....HELP.

You should upload the files to it's own folder.

For instance if you have a site such http://www.yourforum.com
You should make a folder called classifieds in the main level of the website

And then upload files to that new folder at
http://www.yourforum.com/classifieds

Hope that helps.

Okay I did that and nothing shows up in the plugin section. I feel like we're missing a step here :) .

Did you create a folder and upload all the files to it? Afterwords vist the page in the browser http://www.mydomain.com/classifieds/install.php and finish the setup

Do not upload anything to mybb plulgins. ezClassifieds is not a plugin for MyBB and does not change anything in MyBB  In ezClassifieds there is an integration area where you can integrate MyBB logins with ezClassifieds.

Okay I got now thank you.

Now I'm trying to intergrate my members, and I'm putting the path of the folder where my mybb is installed, but I keep getting this error: Unable to find the configuration at that path. The path should be the folder of the software that you are integrating

Not sure what to do.

Make sure you are selecting MyBB and put in the full path to mybb
Example for linux server
/username/home/public_html/mybb/
Example for windows
C:/inetpub/wwwroot/mybb/

ezClassifieds looks for this file inc/config.php
